I swear to God Jack White is like a drug. The more exposure you get the more obsessed you get. And Meg is like the icing on the cake. Mind blowing raw charismatic creative awesomeness! Two beautiful souls making unforgettable musical history forevermore. The chemistry is off the charts. I also love the way they color coordinate their outfits and musical instruments. Thank God for the White Stripes!

Ok. He can't play. He's a hack on guitar. He can't sing. His "writing" is borrowing blues and punk riffs from years ago. Meg White drums like a wind up toy monkey. Are you really that easily pleased or did you just jump on the bandwagon? And after all those years Jack White is still a hack who has to bury his guitar in a wall of effects to try and hide his lack of skill.

I'm glad I was around when all the good bands were playing. You know you can still get music by the Stones or the Kinks and hear real good music instead of this.
@pinkballoon81815 ай бұрын
@@milt6208The Kinks by far better than The Stones imo but don't slag off The White Stripes, they were good. Jack is musically and lyrically gifted and and Meg complimented him. I'm 54, I love sixties music, but there have been great bands over the decades, like this one.

Just some background info on Jack & Meg since their story is pretty legit: They met before fame and got married. One day Jack was messing around with his music and coming up with riffs when he asked Meg to beat on the drum for him. He said in an interview that the way she got behind the drum set and started playing, it was so cool to him seeing her that way, that he decided he would start a band right then and there with her. Before skyrocketing to fame however, they ended things but decided to remain close for the sake of the band they have just created. That’s why in interviews people would ask if they were brother and sister, they told everyone they were siblings so people would focus on their music and not just their label. Edit: If you listen to “White Moon” , it’s a song Jack wrote… very beautiful
