The original album by Whitest Boy Alive was released under 2 different labels, so they probably dont want to give Fred any royalties at all if it were to be on streaming service. And since he has clearly some form of license on it (he's posted it under his own name here and it's been up for 9 years), that would be such a dick move--honestly if Fred is holding out bc of this, I support him 100%. He made this track into a dance hit; the original is 4min of sad emo whining that id never listen to LOL. Fred took the vocals and redid EVERYTHING--melody and all.

The nostalgia is overwhelming - its almost as if I can't take it - it's so melancholic for me, so sentimental and yet uplifting - so many memories, so many warm summer nights in the prime of my life, with girls, friends and a lust for life that I'm so desperately yearning for in this trivial (and at often times depressing) life as an adult..
