Not sure why would you wait until the esophageal balloon is inflated to remove the stiffener. Wouldn’t it be better to remove it once the gastric ballon is inflated and the esophageal balloon still down to avoid more trauma to the varices?

Sir, respectfully, watch again-- the bougie is indeed removed after gastric balloon inflation, not esophageal. Thanks.
