This is so rare when you think what we have live from this era. I love the fact that they were playing lots of different songs around this time such as Little Billy,Relax,Don't Look Away,Run Run Run,C'mon Everybody and more....

A much tighter and more energetic performance than expected. Thank you for sharing these rarities recently.

Wow ! I never heard them do this live. They did start their set at SPAC in 1971 with Pure And Easy which was very surprising since at that time it was usually Heaven And Hell that they would open with.

Great discovery of a live track, from arguably the greatest live band. Long live the who.

If you can ignore the obviously horrendous sound quality, there is a great performance of this song buried in there… I’m not sure that another one of this particular song exists!

The Fillmore was definitely their main stay in the U.S. before woodstock-Townshend had a good relationship with Bill Graham-it makes sense they'd stretch out artistically there. Without this time period we certainly wouldn't have the improvisational power during the tommy era
@anthonygerace8926 Жыл бұрын
They were always a tight live band. This was about 15 months before "Tommy" made them hugely popular.

Thanks for posting this rare performance. After 1971 The Who s Setlist became so predictable, until this last 2023 tour. It seems, that After the two concerts they will do this March, the Who are finish.
