They got it down good but they should have had costume changes to match the era the song was played in. Pete for example, wore the Union Jack outfit in the 60s. When this song was recorded in 1971, he was over that look.

These guys are pretty good but their outfits kinda crack me up. Guitarist outfit matches what Pete wore in the 60's, Roger look-a-like outfit matches the 70's, and the John look- a-like matches 80's. They need a new singer as he misses the mark trying to sound like Roger.

I don't care about the look-alike factor. It helps, but the authenticity of the music should be close. These guys are well good, so I don't want to criticize them, but I will say that the bassist is excellent at capturing John, and his parts are the closest to the real ones. That said, I'm afraid that the drummer, while clearly talented, does not make a very good Moonie. Not enough raw power and most of the fills are not ones that he would have done...

@@salvivo4444 Thanks for the recommendation! I watched that performance of The Real Me! Yes, that is how to do it! The drummer uses matched grip just like Keith Moon. The drummer in this video uses traditional grip. I like the video of The Real Me you recommended! Long Live Rock!

Great cover. I'd say the bass needs more treble...and volume. Personally I don't care for cover bands that try to look like the real group; it just never looks right to me. Just be yourselves and play the cool tunes.
