On the dry and dusty road.. It's 1973 but in my mind it's still 1966 and my custom Lambretta SX200 is flat out pulling 60 mph on the way to Hastings on the B roads on a bright and sunny bank holiday Monday.. the wind in my hair and Julie on the back, and 40 scooters behind me.. we see the coastline for the first time, the pier is in view and we all let out a big cheer.. one of the best ever memories

It's so cool that KZbin as these videos so all the concerts that I went to the my memory is a little fuzzy about lol I can relive them over and over again. It was a freaking awesome concert. I was sending right on the 2nd base spot remembering looking back at everybody of in the crowd it seemed like they were all cheering for me lol the hallucinogenics might have had something to do with that :)

Just 18 years after the Beatle's historic, "world-transforming" visit to the United States, and their concert at the same venue in New York City: the Shea Stadium. How the face of ROCK n ROLL would change between 1964 and 1982. The Who were also part of the second-wave "British invasion" after the Beatles.

Moon's gone, Townshend isn't making the windmill nor jumping like a drunk bug everywhere, Daltrey is not making his big gestures. I don't think The Who could ever possibly get over his death. Sure, individual members probably could. But Keith Moon was too deeply integral part of what made the music great. His drumming was driving force behind energy of much of their work. He wasnt¨really replacable.
