Happy new year and belated holidays! Even extra thirsty, your front garden looks amazing! :) I’m sorry you found out some friends aren’t who you thought, that’s never fun :( Try not to dwell on it too much though. I know how us ‘emo’ people can be ;) Hugs!

The garden is so full! 💜 maybe take some time to purge the unloved ones to make watering manageable. 😂

Yes, I need to do some major pruning and resetting. Overall, this area is quite low maintenance considering it's been neglected for the past 3 years. Thanks for watching and have a lovely day!🥰

I'm sorry about the National Geographic men! They should GET A CLUE!! It's very relaxing to watch you water your garden and comment on all the things. Sometimes I think my mind is going to get overwhelmed when I've got so many plant tasks that I see 3 things as I'm walking to go get some tool or spray, and it's like I drop the thing I was trying to do and switch to another gardening task randomly. Other times, I get in the zone and I've got my task prioritization down like my brain is a computer, and it's so satisfying to get every plant soaking that needs, clean up dry leaves, spray fungicide, pot up a promising prop, etc etc. Like checking tasks off the list mentally is a reward in and of itself for me. (And of course, getting to look at beautiful plants!) So it's nice to see you who have been at this hobby for more years showing your thought process as you tend to things. It helps me relax and feel reassured that my sensibilities about what my plants need are always growing as I gain more experience with them. Right now for example, I have a strong sense finally of when a pot "feels light" and is super dry. Before, anything could "feel lightweight" to me! I wasn't used to the weight of the plants themselves + the weight of my soil mixes. I was also feeling like I had to check every little pot with the moisture meter, which is just too tedious and not a relaxing way to go about tending plants. It's still useful for sure, but I'm not going to check the soil for every single plant every single day. I've been learning which of my succulents are more thirsty than others, too. Thank you for sharing the lovely story about Wal's rose cutting he gave you! That is such a gift to still have that plant around.

Use shower setting for watering.
@GrowingSucculentswithLizKКүн бұрын
I did!😁One has to vary the settings depending on the plant or distance of the pots. On some scenario, mist setting is best. Thanks for watching and have a great day.🥰

Compare it to the Crassula blue bird you got from Plant and be Merry, looks like the same plant 🪴 20:12 🪴

Thank you, Maria. You definitely got a good eye. They look so much alike let alone, in the video. But side by side comparison, Cotyledon Ruby Lips has smaller leaves compared to the Crassula Blue Bird from P&BM. Have a great day!🥰
