Just had a youtube short pop up with Deion Sanders playing for the Cowboys against The Green Bay Packers & he still dominated while having a hamstring issues & a pulled groin. When Coach Prime talks about being a leader & a dog & wanting to display excellence & will to win & putting it out on the line to give his all when the game is over. That's what he means!

Big12 KSU fan here and let me say...I am proud of our CU brothers. You might have left the Hateful 8, but we welcome you back with nothing but love. What Coach is building takes time and there will be setbacks and stumbles, but the path is forward. And you see those values when these young men talk that they have bought in to what the entire coaching staff is saying. Probably the issue is you are getting these soy fed PAC lineman when what you really need are some corn fed, whole milk drinking Beefalos from the Midwest. You get that size....CU is Top 10. Look forward to you guys getting back in.

Weaver is the most consistent player outside of 2 so far this season in my opinion. He’s fighting hard every game and when we need a first down he is going to come up big! Dylan is going to be great one day but he’s not ready to block the bigger defenders . I would start sayvion or Alton .
@Opinlinz
@Opinlinz 8 ай бұрын
I sincerely hope he does. My critique of him is if he's going to be the number 1 option for receiver. He needs to go get the ball. High point the ball and just don't allow the ball to come to him with body catches. His hands need to get stronger so he's a bona-fide 1st option. I like what he said in the video though because a player can either pass blame or take accountability to be better and the only way to get better is to take a deep look at oneself and make neccessary adjustments

Dylan is a speed/slot Barry Sanders type back. Do you really want him blocking linebackers and 300 pound defensive tackles? Its goes back to the offensive coordinator to use the talent effectively and he failed against Oregon. Dylan Edwards is not being used correctly.. They are relying on the wide outs too much and not being creative enough to confuse the defense and use the speed of Dylan Edwards.
@Opinlinz
@Opinlinz 8 ай бұрын
@@studiobauhaus7740 A runningback shouldn't be one dimensional. Blocking is part of the equation. That's what being used a decoy means. If you just put him in for plays going to him then the defense would obviously know where the ball is going. I think its comical how many people are turning on the offensive coordinator after 1 loss. When he's the same guy who was calling plays against TCU and being applauded. The difference is no one knew what to expect from Colorado in the first game but now teams see the Buffs have no running game. So that makes it easier to scheme against the pass. When you don't have to play the run. This is part of the process. I just think way too many people overlooked things with everyone because of that first game

How are the coaches gong to respond. Defensively, when adversity comes. Will the defensive coaches make adjustments? Offensively, will Coach Lewis live up to pre-season hype. Will he be less predicable? Will he use motion and try to disguise formations. Will he run the football outside of the tackles instead of up the middle every single time. Will Coach Lewis call a jet sweep and try to use the talent that he has. Coaching staff just as accountable as the players. Think about it, against Colorado State - they ran the same route over and over and over. No adjustment was made to stop it. We all know that our line needs a little work. Those guys are battling. Can Coach Lewis call pass plays that require the QB to get rid of the ball before 3 seconds. Oregon's QB the first half was releasing the ball within 3 seconds every time. Our coach wants Shedeur to stand in a collapsing pocket and check down the route trees. He doesn't have time for that. Coaches - step up!

I'm not saying CU has the best O-line, but they are not as horrible as they have looked the past two weeks. They need help in the play calling. RPO's, jet sweeps, motion - something other than the same screen game. I love Dylan, but you know the likelihood of the type of play when he is in the game. There are bigger backs for blocking and they can also catch out the backfield. And I am sorry, Shedeur holds the ball way too long for the type of protection he knows he is getting. Run outside the tackles and chuck it away. Defensively. Damn. Your safeties should not be in contention for top tacklers. That small running back for Oregon looked like Marshawn Lynch out there Saturday. The holes were gaping, and if there were people on the ball carrier, he moved the pile by himself. There seems to be A LOT of confusion on the defense when a play comes in as well. From my perspective, the changes that need to really happen involve the coaches. Adjusting throughout the game and making sure there is a clear understanding of what is supposed to happen on a series of plays. #letsgo!

Thank you someone that knows football. Idc what level you’re on if you don’t establish your run game you won’t be successful. The defenses are pinning their ears back. Shedeur is a great QB but he can’t be your savior week in and week out. Learn how to play good old school football. 3 or four yards a carry is ok. It still keeps you in reach of a first down. Allow big guys the chance to fire off the ball. Let them get a cohesive rhythm. Colorado wants to score every play, that’s cool, sometimes. But sometimes you have to really game plan to play 4 quarters of football. You can’t keep taking 10 yard sack lost. You can’t keep putting your O-Line in a defenseless position. People Shedeur on the ground and automatically blames the O-Line it’s definitely more to it. Colorado OC should’ve had a better game planning for Oregon. Shedeur didn’t have one turnover so what was the problem? Play calling, and not using the clock as their friend. Yes that fake punt was unavoidable, but it’s no way Oregon should’ve been getting the ball back so quickly for offensive possessions. On defensive side of the ball, the linebackers are non-existent. They’re not hitting the gaps, and when they do they’re not tackling. Every weekend Shilo or Trevor Woods are having to make majority of the tackles. Some times, corners. It makes a tough defensive game if the dbs has to make majority of the tackles and defend the pass. A lot of the times DBs have been caught peeking in the backfield because they can’t trust their front seven. In the process they get beat.

Those who don’t care enough to feel the pain of change that’s needed will never grow and never progress as a person or as as a player. Don’t drown in your feelings get in and get out, get what you need to motivate you to be a better you. If you are so self absorbed that you can’t do that or just tune everything out and act like you don’t care it will show and you absolutely won’t grow better. Remember, it’s a balance of being able to be in your feelings to effect positive change but also Not being consumed by it. Always Be Thinkers First!! God Bless

Coach Prime made it clear to the players, if you want the spotlight, you’d get it but be prepared for the good AND the bad. Just like real life, it’s how you respond. There are some freshmen there killing it then a couple of others who are not putting in the work😮 Cormani needs to get with the program if he wants to play😢😢😢#skobuffs #coachprime.

Straight up if Coach Prime and these Vlogs would have came out before I attended college! I would have probably went to University of Colorado because that is the most beautiful campus! Keep your heads up still an amazing turnaround this year and will only keep improving!

Colorado must make personnel changes. Here's what they can do to improve their performance. Immediately, they must change personnel on the O-line and D-line. At this level of football, if you are not improving, you're getting worse; and they are not improving. On the O-line they should remove Lichtenhan and Bailey on the left side, and replace them with McCrimmon 6'6" 310 and Wilty 6'4" 310, or Hardin 6'5" 315. Lichtenhan and Bailey are getting consistently beat, outside and inside, by their defensive line opponents. I had hoped they would improve, but they have not. On the D-line, Cokes 6'3" 275 is too small at defensive tackle. Play Thomas 6'2" 305. Play McNeil 6'4" 295 at the other defensive tackle. On the left edge keep Domineck. On the right edge, replace McClendon, as he isn't getting pressure on the quarterback. Play Cokes 6'3" 275 on the right edge. In general, they need an increase in skill and/or size on both the O-line and the D-line. More skill and weight on the O-line will give them the ability to establish a running game, which is critical, and provide a higher level of pass protection for the aerial attack. More weight on the interior D-line will help them stop the up the middle running game of their opponents. We'll see if the coaches have the courage to make these adjustments. If not, they will have the same kind of experience they had at Oregon.

Damn !! That was a very detailed explanation on how to improve ! Much better than saying they suck and they need to change personal. With it being College and not the Pros it's definitely a fine line and unfortunately they just can't sign FA off the street to help out. Definitely looking forward to what a full off season brings in term of fresh recruiting and transfers to really shore up the deficiencies you pointed out. But yes for sure both lines need to need up !

Reggie Young and Wilty are probably likely replacement for GCL and Bailey. I like Mcneil on the DL. Move Cokes to the edge. So my starters would be Washington, Bebee, Wells, Wilty, GCL. My DL starters Dominick, Payne, Mcneil, Cokes
