I've got a horizontal eyebrow piercing, I've got a curved bar in mine, I've had it for 8 years now and it still hasn't even attempted to grow out, it still looks as pretty as the day it was done, I've never changed out the bar or the balls, I didn't want to risk it getting infected. Pain wise it was nothing, I didn't even feel anything except for when the piercer was tightening up the balls when she had finished the piercing

Thanks for sharing, it's not a black/white matter when it comes to the bar being used. Horizontal eyebrow piercings done with curved barbells can also heal. I believe it depends a lot more on anatomy.

Had mine for three years but it slowly migrated out cause the skin on my skull was thin to begin with. Make sure you get it in a fleshy area if you're going to and watch how you sleep, no makeup near the area. Pain wasn't bad, healing wasn't bad, aftercare is important. Other than that, good piercing. Love your videos btw!!

I had this. It was my favorite piercing. I’m honestly considering about getting it again but healing was horrible for me cause of the makeup I was wearing 😓

I got this one done like 15 years ago with a classic barbell and it still looks great. Although my piercer said he had done that to a dozen other people after me and most got rejected 🙃

These look so cute but I’m backing away from it based on the fact that I’ve heard they reject easily, and a lot of the time they can start pushing the bar out after a few years. I feel like id constantly have to get it redone Update: one month later and I got it pierced 🤦🏼‍♀️ I actually got it done 2 weeks ago and so far so good 👀

@@kittikat02able so the piercer that did mine ended up using the wrong jewelry (curved barbell) and it did end up rejecting and I’m still really upset about it. So whatever you do, make sure that wherever you go, they are APP certified and know what they are doing and they use a surface bar (looks like a staple) and they DO NOT use a curved barbell otherwise, it will reject. I plan on waiting for the area to completely heal up and going to my nearest APP certified studio and getting mine redone because I loved it 😭

@@kittikat02able mine was $40 because I went to a shop that had lower quality jewelry but when I asked around my area they cost around $80 on average with jewelry

​@@ciara-lace7543 Untrue, there's good horizontal ones done with curved barbells that stayed for many years, just read the comments. Rejection has to do with a lot of individual factors including the skin thickness and your innate immune system. Getting one with a different bar may not help at all and could be a waste of your money.

I had to take my anti eyebrow out today :( I had it almost two years, it was starting to reject. It was done with a curved bar. Thinking of getting it redone with a surface bar.

You have to play with it to find out. Everyone's face shape is different, so bust out that marker and start drawing.

Just got mine pierced and was wondering if my experience was odd, my piercer does this piercing but used 2 dermal punches and punched the 2 separate holes, than used a taper to connect the two entrances. She pierced it at 14 with a curved barbell but I'll most likely switch to a 16g surface bar once my piercer can get more in stock.

How does this compare to regular eyebrow? I got symmetrical eyebrow piercings a couple weeks ago and I have mixed feelings. The one thing that bothers me most is that I see the lower beads. I'm ADD as hell and they're actually a bit distracting. Debating taking these out and going with one or two horizontal instead

Well if they're not fully healed you shouldn't put any makeup on it or too close to it

It is an open wound for at least one month and they weren't designed to go in your body. Some really cause problems and some arent as as bad, but try to avoid it. Also listen to your body. If it hurts, gets red, swollen or irritated when you use it....then dont use it..

IT DID REJECT. I didn't listen when someone on internet said it. The piercer didn't care. Just used a curved one when a flat one is better.

I had someone use a curved bar and it was awful. I had it re done by someone who is a lot more trained and experienced. It's 100x better than the first time ❤ It bleeds a lot though lol

I had this for about a month and a half but it rejected and I had to take it out 😪 (it was probably due to me hitting it accidentally quite a lot and the piercer using a curved barbell)
