Love Jesse Dixon (this is one of my favorites) I didn’t get saved till 2013 but since then the Lord has led me to Jesse’s music (and all of Gaither.. love em all) he has brought me to praise, worship and sing to the Lord 🙏😭🎶💙 I’ve asked Jesus to say hi to Jesse for me and thank him for the music he made. I too had enjoy and love Jessy music, I cried when he passed and went home to rest in his grave until the resurrection morning when Jesus wakes him up from his temporary sleep. The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-16 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain untill the Coming of the Lord Will by no means precede those who are asleep (dead). For the Lord himself Will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in CHRIST will Rise First.". For one to rise he has to come up from somewhere. If one had died and gone to heaven already, then the individual would not be rising from the grave when Christ returns. He or she would be desending from heaven. According to Paul the Apostle he made it clear that the dead wake up from their sleep and Rise. Please read John 5:28-29, John 6:39-40,: 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 To summarize, do we go to heaven when we die. No, the Bible answers this question clearly Only Jesus Christ has gone to heaven Human beings do not go to Hell or Heaven at death. The Bible reveals the encouraging hope that the dead will be resurrected at a Future time- at the second coming of Christ returns . I trust that as you read the TRUE words that is written in the scripture God will give you wisdom and understanding to further understand the concepts of death . I know it is painful to lose a loved one, I have lost my parents, a sister and 2 brothers. By God's grace I am looking forward to that getting up morning when Christ awakening me in the First Resurrection of Life. Or if I remain alive bat his Second coming I pray that. I will be caught up to meet him in the air." Lo this is our God that I have waited for and he will save. Praise God 🙏 Let us strive to be obedient to God's commandments live holy every minute of our life, that if he should call us he will be ready to go home to he who loves us with an everlasting love. My friend my deepest condolences to you and family on the passing of your mom. I know how it feels to lose both parent. May God give you comfort during this difficult time. Your mom is gone home to rest temporary in her grave. The moment she passed her thoughts perish then proceed to be buried. Your lovely mom is resting in the grave until the second coming of Christ returns when Christ awaken the dead. Please read 1 Thessalonians 4:15- 16 for the comforting words of Christ. Also John 3:13 , John 5:28-29 1 Corinthians 15:51-52. Take courage my friend and rest assure that God words are true. Until then keep faithful live one day at a time in God's presence. I wrote The Wicked Shall Cease Their Troubling in 1969 after Woodstock. My mother had taken me to Woodstock with her. That was when I wrote the chorus. The first verse was written in 1992 when I had lymphoma the second time. The last verse was written in 1996. I heard Joyce Meyer's teaching on being offered. She said offense is like a brick the Devil gives us. We must decide what to do with it. I decided to give my bricks back to God and let him build a home up in heaven!

YOU SAW them seeking comfort from the above mentioned topography, ONE OF THE MANY MARVELS YOUR PERFECT HANDS HAVE MADE. 👏👏👏 YOU SAW their worries about tomorrow. If their hearts were a window that they could look through, oh the pains and scars they would see. What a cruel fate the skin gives as a mask to the inward pain. But the skin couldn’t cover THE SUFFERING YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON BORED on the cross as PAYMENT for all our sins because HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE HAD THE MERIT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR HOLINESS. Indeed, ONLY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS SUFFICIENT TO SAVE us from this present evil world as evidenced by Mary's song of praise. How can anyone bear the thought of his or her life story detracting from the GLORY AND HONOR KNOWN TO BELONG TO CHRIST ALONE? As a consequence, YOU ARE A MYSTERY OF GREAT MYSTERY to them. Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seeks to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take. Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movie, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them defeat in their minds what is false in YOUR EYES.
