Langkawi definitely surprised us here from the cutest monkeys to the eagles soaring above our heads the wildlife on this island is incredible! We had the most wonderful boat tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to experience something different and get closer to nature whilst visiting Malaysia!

He actually told us at the start that we could wear them if we like or not if we were good swimmers. As we are both very comfortable in the water we decided not to wear them. We felt very safe. Thank you so much and let us know if you have any recommendations! ✨🙏🏼✨

Ooh, it was a while ago but I think that it was around 350 ringgit which is around £60 for the boat! So I think you just split that between whoever is on the boat! The tour is definitely worth it! 😍

Lang=eagles kawi=brownish color Langkawi= brownish eagles 🦅 There are two types of monkeys in Langkawi = the macaque and the long tail. The monkey u saw at the mangroves are the macaques, I hope you also get to see the long tail monkeys 👌

Ahh wow! Thank you for this interesting fact! We didn’t know that! 🦅 We did know about the monkeys and love both species! We saw a lot of the long tailed langur monkeys in the south of Thailand and also in Langkawi, they’re amazing! 😍

@@SilkyRonTheRoad yes, the long tail langur monkeys, they're quite plenty in tropical islands of Malaysia. Do visit other tropical islands of Malaysia especially at the east coast like Pulau Perhentian, Tioman etc..they're very beautiful 🏝

Oh no 😱 From the video I could see that when you two took over the wheels from ismail, both of you did not stick to the designated pathway specifically for ismail's registered boat, instead you wavered left and right off the correct path! What you did was, you cut wrongly through the more dense saltwater off andaman sea and the less dense saltwater in malacca straits plus the half saltwater half freshwater off the mangrove lines by gorilla island, dayang bunting island and the 97 other islands of langkawi, you did not cut those waters at the right spots/path, not to mention the different and inconsistent speeds (fast-slow-fast) causing underwater turbulence and irregular underwater currents (at the surface too but that is not a concern) and both of these had, unknown to you, immediately caused an imbalance of the composition of the waters (salt and chemical contents, ph balance, deep sea and seabed temperatures and heat distributions, at least for 2-3km high impact radius plus a further 3-4 km radius of low-moderate impacts, which are equivalent to suppressing growth of up to 5 years of new and existing corals and 1 year of new mangrove trees, hence the demise, or growth suppressant, of equivalent to 1 breeding season of the langkawi (red) eagles, 1 year of malayan turtles, 3 months of a variety of the beautiful colorful small aquarium fishes, 1 month of grade b _ikan bilis_ (anchovies), and 1 week of _kerang rebus_ (boiled cockles). Have you tried _kerang rebus?_ Ask the locals where you can get some, eat them with _kicap cili,_ a dip of dark/thick soy sauce with some cut lethal _chilli padi_ thrown inside, yum! 😋

@@SilkyRonTheRoad ah sorry this is the 1st video of yours that I have encountered and watched, didn't know you two are vegetarians. Hmmm in that case I recommend to you two, if you haven't tried it already, _rojak mamak_ which is a plate of deep fried fritters mixed with some fresh veges (of sort) eg cucumber strips/shreds, jicama (mexican water turnip) strips, fried tofu, and cut hard boiled eggs (which you can eat right?) But being vegetarians you have to be careful of 2 other primary things though: They don't include prawn fritters for you, these are a must otherwise. You can easily tell it's a prawn fritter because there'd be a fried prawn complete with its shell embedded on top 😅 Secondly, they don't give you the black colored sauce, the _pasembur_ sauce which is prawn based. But instead, they should give you the yellowish reddish brownish peanut based sauce, which for me personally is the best. This is also the same as the peanut sauce for our traditional satay. Check first that they do have this peanut sauce, otherwise maybe you can ask/buy some peanut sauce if there's a satay seller nearby 👍 Another delicious and popular traditional snack that you must find and try is: _roti sarang burung_ which is a variation of _roti canai_ except that it comes with 2 half boiled eggs placed on top of the _roti canai_ plus the gravy (curry or dhal ie lentils) too is poured together into the same plate, soaking the _roti._ I can't wait to have both of these when I return to malaysia soon, been missing them! So, forget about the 2nd part of my original comment regarding the _kerang rebus,_ it's irrelevant to you 😔 And... forget too about the 1st part of my original comment regarding your destroying some precious sealives, everything in that was irrelevant actually because I just made them all up as I went along, just to pull your legs (Shirley your legs are tired already from all the travelling you have done!) 😂 sorry 🙏😂😂
