You mean 8 years or more? Tekken lasted from 2015 to 2024. Tekken 8 should last way longer, especially because of all the new players that have so many ways of getting good/better. I feel like that was a problem in tekken 7 because people saw so many characters and nothing in game to teach them or help them.

I remember back in the day when Tekken 5 and DR was out in an arcade I use to work at in Buffalo NY. Called Namco Cyberstation. Joey and his brother would come in all the time to play us. The block stun is slightly different in T8. Likely Ayorichie just didn't press df2 quickly enough, as it's a really generous window in T7. Rage arts are still definitely punishable.

In a tournament setting, time outs are inevitable. That’s how neck and neck tournament level play is. A casual player is rarely gonna encounter timeouts. It’s fine
