I very much enjoyed Richard Bishop's sensitive and illuminating presentation of the first portion of the Williams collection of Anglo-Saxon coins. It was erudite but also sparked by some humorous insights, such as a few of the coins' second-life travels around the world.

Could have been a few more coins shown and a little less talking but as I did get to see a few coins I gave it a thumbs up! I did actually watch this to see Viking coins, still enjoyed what I saw.

I was surprised that he didn't wear cotton gloves whilst handling the coins being a experienced dealer!

I've never seen a dealer wear gloves when handling ancient / medieval coins. I love handling mine without gloves so that I can feel them and be that much closer to history.
