This breaks my heart..I love this family and always watched their show on TLC...I thought to myself....what are the odds of having 12 children with each one blessed with good looks, intelligence, multi multi talented and loving each other....I was in total shock when I first heard about their father and what he had done...I thought this can't be....this must be a mistake....what a terribly sad story...I pray that they can recover from all the trauma they've suffered and triumph! This shows that what's on the outside could be totally different than what's goes on inside closed doors....Prayers

I was happy to find that some of the kids are back performing together as a family. I was shocked as many people were to here about what happened with the father. I'm not sure 40 years is long enough but at least the younger kids don't have to worry about being abused and the older kids can work through the pain and hopefully get past it. I think I heard at least 1 of the older girls is in counseling. Hopefully all of them are. Speaking from experience it doesn't just go away. It affects all aspects of your relationships. So therapy is GOOD! I Love You Will is Clan! Couldn’t help but tear up when they were performing just because of everything they went through and how united they are as a family now more than ever ❤ Keep doing what you love Willis clan! I have always loved the creativity that this family showered the world with, as well as the grace and happiness that they displayed to the world. When tragedy once again struck this family they disappeared from all types of social media leaving those of us that loved them dearly, missing them like crazy. Calling it a problem must be the understatement of the century. Being a monster is not”having a problem” ... you don’t have to be strong to leave someone who sexually and physically abuse your children . That’s being normal . If you satay and let it happen, you are just as guilty. I can’t believe them mom didn’t know this was going on for so many years. She does not score high in my book. I’m saying this as someone who’s been through this myself..

@ Suzanne Rowe How? the boys probably lived in fear themselves. That excuse of a father was very controlling, using violence, treats, religion and isolation to control all of them. If anyone is to blame it is their mother for not putting a stop to her husband after the first time, that been said growing up with a similar situation myself it is always not easy for the mother step in either out of fear for herself or the other kids. It is highly likely that her in actions will haunt her the rest of her life.

It is so difficult to judge others. If one parent tries to stop the other from harming the children, it can have other devastating consequences. The other parent can end up with custody over the children. In court, it comes down to him verses her. After it goes on for enough time and enough people know about it, then action can be taken. By then it looks like those who did not stop it were wrong. If they had taken action sooner, they still would have been viewed as villains. I have faced situations like this in my life where the only option is to wait and hope that everyone ends up recovering from whatever happens. It's a sick world.
