The GPD Win Series is pure Love in my opinion and i love that the previous GPD Win's are passive cooled but this time with the GPD Win havin a cooler it's a bit of an headach to hear the cooler that sounds like a jet engine but only 5 times quieter ... like i said it's just my opinion

I just grabbed a mint used one cheaper now just for what you mentioned. Micro powerhouse as a star trek device type of music studio loaded to the 9's with VST's. Actually fits in a jacket pocket even, and mappable joysticks and trigger for easy synth morphing, pitch bends, MPE level interaction. The flat keyboard has an advantage, as a very useable ribbon controller, you want that.
