After the move 14...Nxe4, there are some tricks like 15.Qb3 Qf5 (15...Nxf2!? 16.Qc3 Qg4 17.Ra5!?) 16.Rxe4 Qxe4 17.Qc3 with the idea of 18. c5. The position remains balanced everywhere, though. So, 14...Nxe4 is possible.
