Well if you think about it, she got her 2nd wind (no pun intended) right there at the finish line. Around top 7/6 I was also like "she might have peaked too early and now has run out of steam" but there right at the top 4 she really rallied back to the top of the heap.

Her edit & treatment on the show felt very runner-up. But her talent deserved the crown. I can’t help but feel that the show didn’t want her 2 win - even though she deserved by her finale performance. Maybe they changed it last minute by all the Asian finalists getting snubbed l8ly. I can’t help but feel that way.

Agreed. She was non-existent in several episodes. It honestly felt like the season was setting up to crown Sapphira until Nymphia did somethign truly iconic during the finale lipsync. In saying that though, she was always edited as the queen who has a lot hidden under her sleeves with queens like Plane Jane and Sapphira stating how she's someone to eep an eye out on.

I really love Sapphira and would prefer her to win, but Nymphia has just been a trailblazer. The moment that Tie look graced the runway, I knew she's setting up a new generation of drag queens. Sappphira is oozing talent but I can't help but feel emotional with Nymphia's WINd. In another timeline, I would have adored a double win between this two. Let's not spread hate to any queen, but support them despite the end of their drag race journey! 💛💙

Really one of the things Nymphia had going for her was we never saw her lip sync this season. So her performance and tricks felt a lot fresher because we "didn't know" what she is capable of in a lip syncing. It's not that Sapphira did bad in the lip syncing, it's just we've seen enough of her lip syncs that it had that air of "solid but expected" and her reveals/tricks simply got outshone by Nymphia's

Something about how she kept it so simple when asked what she'd like to say and says "Taiwan this is for you!" Just made my heart drop with joy and happiness, I literally felt it in my heart and chest. I'm not Taiwanese or Asian at all, Mexican, German, Irish actually but that doesn't matter to me. It just felt so heartfelt and meaningful that she said that and I had to hold back my tears, it was so sorry and sweet but I literally feel the love she spoke and can only IMAGINE how much it was multiplied from what I felt be her family and those from and in Taiwan! Nononononononooooooo- … I AM ACTUALLY MEGA GAGGED!! I was convinced & absolutely terrified that every single Asian finalist was gonna get snubbed. Babe, the moment I heard Nymphia, I felt like I was dreaming. AAAAA!! I curse has been broken !!! I was fully expecting, narratively, Sapphira was gonna win. I think we all noticed that Nymphia did not get the wins & judge’s admiration that she deserved. She had highs that were basically wins. &, it’s extremely clear how amazing her final lip sync was. The balloons were already a cute reveal - I bet also gr8 4 keeping the structure of that cape/wings. But the way her entire outfit transformed in a 1-hand cartwheel?! 🗣️ Everything about her this entire finale was so strong. Her song was so beautiful.

The moment Sapphira and nymphia entered the werkrooms I instantly fell in love and they were my two winner picks! To see them both in the top 2 really was so satisfying to me! I would have been happy with either of them winning, and the other to be a future all stars winner! im so happy with how this season has started and has ended. this is truly one of the best seasons we've had in a while. as an asian, nymphia really brought the continent and culture to its peak. and for mother sapphira, i fear that once she's on the entrance of an all stars season, she'd be the winner automatically.

What I love is Sapphira auditioned 11 times and (unlike many "I auditioned so many times" sob stories) you could tell Sapphira spent her down time between auditions PREPARING for the actual show! I get so frustrated by queens who audition year after year just to say they don't know how to sew, don't do impersonations, etc. Sapphira came ready to take on the show and aside from the crown she did just that. She had every reason to hold her head up high.
