With all my heart, as long as there is Runing Man, I really wish for Suk Jin hyung to win daesang award. Its not because he stayed in the business for a long time but for his vitality and the ability to cope up with the challenges. Be it as it may that others don't find him funny but there others like me finds him funny, his humor is based on an old man jokes. Still, congratulations Jae Suk hyung I'm pretty sure Suk Jin is proud of you.

Jaesuk deserves that award, he really does. But I feel so bad for Seokjin. He'll be *57* next year. He's pushing *sixty.* He's the oldest permanent celebrity in a weekend variety show. Amongst the younger members of RM, he has always pushed himself in both physical activities and games. After Kwangsoo left, he stepped up as the oldest hyung and in the past few years, he has made me laugh like crazy over his antics. I really wanted him to win the daesang. I feel like he's in his peak now. He really deserves it. However, once again, congratulations to Jaesuk for winning that award! His performance has always been consistently great, and he's a reliable person we can always count on ~ 💖From his speech we can tell that he really treasures the RM cast and crew and also felt bad for JSJ, but he should also be proud of himself because winning the daesang was not easy! I remember when kim jong min gets his kbs daesang, people were saying he will surely gets it that year and it does. SBS is just cruel, just because JSJ is not as popular as KJK and YJS doesnt mean he didnt deserve the award. That guy is reaching his 60s and he still manage to play parts in an extreme variety show for more than 10 years. Even the member especially YJS was hoping JSJ won the award. A character that always gets teased despite being the oldest senior in variety world is really admirable. JSJ already recieve recognition from the people but the industry will always make undermine him.

I agree with you that JSJ deserves the award also. However, it is not because of the popular that YJS or KJK got more chance to get the award. JSJ is a traditional Korean while YJS or even KJK has the open mind. The way YJS treats other coworkers even they are popular, or they are just new on the industry, or they are seniors, or they are just young people are equally with nice and welcome. JSJ has worked hard later but he didnot learn this point from YJS. Then when they vote for the award, he could not get many votes, especially from the young celebrities which JSJ doesn't know them for he just sees them as his juniors.

My 2 cents is that SBS ruined it for JSJ last year 2021. He shined the brightest last year and should have won the 2021 Daesang. However, this is 2022 Daesang and YJS shined in RM this year in 2022 and deserves the 2022 Daesang. Let's hope JSJ does his best in 2023 and we can only hope he gets rewarded for it.

It's not a question of who deserves the award. The reason a lot of people were pissed is because of the MC's insensitive remarks (like asking YJS to pass JSJ the trophy to hold for a bit???? like seriously???) and the way the MCs kept leading JSJ on by repeatedly telling him to "calm down"/"why are you nervous?" throughout the show. But the crowning touch? The fact that this "joke" was also played out in a similar, albeit slightly less cruel, manner last year. Ji Sukjin does not deserve this treatment and Yoo Jaesuk did not deserve having to feel bad for winning. (Anyways, congrats to Jaesuk!) But after the Kang Ho Dong casting fiasco a few years back, the only reason I can think of SBS doing this to JSJ is because they honestly don't think much of the cast of their longest running variety....

honestly I think yjs really deserves this award. Jsj still doesn't live up to his true qualifications even though he always tries. And we can't blame yjs for this, because yjs always does his best and works hard in every episode of RM, since RM is still on air the longest and many people are still interested in this show including me. If Jsj gets this award because of sympathy, I think it's a shame. The only thing that makes me feel sorry for JSJ is the atmosphere and circumstances around him that seem to give him hope. That made him a little embarrassed when he didn't win the award. But I know he is happy for yjs. I still support all RM members and hope that everyone gets the award they deserve as a result of their efforts. I hope RM will stay for a long time. I can't deny that JSJ has been making more of an effort on RM for the past few years but I feel like the other nominees do more to actually create funny content in their shows. JSJ always seems to be a participant in a situation created by someone else. At this point, I think a lot of people want JSJ to win just because he's been in the business for a long time and hasn't won one yet. I'm really happy for the Running Man team despite many issues and viewers that were complaining they still stood tall and running the show until now. I am actually a variety show person than a kdrama one because when I was struggling during my early college days I really had so many downs than ups that at some point it became a depression and honestly, those 2 days that were lowest days of my life back then I just watched Running Man, I literally binge watch the early episodes and continued to the recent ones and thankfully I did not think anything while watching it that time and I just laughed while watching and I think somehow it saved me. Personally, Running Man would still be the top variety show for me. For the ones saying that RM is not fun anymore, it is still actually is. They just got old that's why they could not run the same they did before. I hope viewers that dropped the show after Kang Gary left would try to watch RM again, I would recommend the Global Project episode to you guys! They traveled overseas during those episodes.

When Ji Hyo hugged Seok Jin My heart!! 🖤 I was annoyed though, I wish the presenters would just announce the damn award without all that “suspense” & telling Seok Jin to relax & that Jae Suk just accept the award instead of putting Seok Jin in the spotlight like that.
