Bekah, I saw your alert on my phone that you had uploaded a new video. I was just finishing up making dinner for my family and it was the perfect time to sit with a cup of tea and watch your video. I can so relate to the “policing” of morning chores and breakfast before homeschool starts and I do so try to keep the home relaxing and full of love and not chaos and tension in the mornings. It doesn’t always end up that way but that’s the goal ❤️🏡 we have a huge cold front blow through Texas this week and we are hunkered down and eating homemade tortillo soup tonight with fresh salsa and chips. I’m a bit of a country girl so I tend to wear jeans and an oversized sweater most days but I’m so inspired by the way you dress everyday. Years ago before I got married I did a challenge that was a 21 day dress challenge and I remember how comfortable and beautiful I felt everyday during that challenge. I’m always so happy to hear about your clothing and where you purchase them. Sending love and warm wishes your way, you brought so much peace to my heart tonight. Hey Bekah. This recipe for the bread looks wonderful. I may have to try this. The addition of fresh red berries is such a treat. It's so cold and nothing is in season. It makes me truly miss being able to harvest our own Fresh food. I'm sure I have said this in the past but your family is so very lucky that they have you to care for them. Your wonderful meals and treats will become a wonderful memory for them as they grow up. I always speak of my mother's and grandmother's recipes and the wonderful memories that food brings ( a little too much we are Greek and love to eat 😂) there is something so therapeutic about being in the kitchen and making something that makes our spirits feel good. There is a Greek phrase "gias ta xeria sou" it means bless your hands. We say it to someone when something Wonderful is created with their hands. I'm saying it to you 😸. Thank you again for sharing your talents with us. The kitties are absolutely adorable. They remind me of my puppies when they play.

Your videos are always so peaceful and calming. I'm going through a medical condition with my heart. I'm on medicine and it's slowly getting better but it still has some progress to go. It has given me such grave anxiety and depression. I am only 31 and homeschool my 2 boys. It's been so hard trying to do things and remain strong and not let them know their mom is struggling. Wonderful winter day to you Becca, I’ve had a busy morning, there was an ice storm in my city so we had to spend the night in our RV and it wasn’t a bad experience but I was glad to get back into my home into my bed. After returning to our house after the power outage, I prepared a simmering pot of chili on the stove and I sit down to watch some KZbin videos on my television, and I came across your video, your morning routine was right on point, as mothers and wives, we need to take care of ourselves and sometimes a load of laundry or anything that is in our morning routine sometimes has to go to the wayside in order for us to be steel quiet in our hearts in our minds and just see it and do something that is comforting to us and that’s exactly what she exhibited today in this video and I’m sure it calm the spirits of many women who are busy mothers with children a household to run maybe a full-time job plus children to take care of and other duties as a wife and mother in the early morning and we sometimes forget to look in the mirror and take care of ourselves and see the beauty of ourselves that God has created not only the outward appearance but the inward are parents and we should take care of ourselves in order to take care of the ones that we love and to set the atmosphere for our home for the day and that is exactly what you did today Becca you set a tone for your household and I’m sure your children as I started homeschooling this morning, the area where they were setting where you have created a homeschool classroom was more than likely I can’t place, a teachable place, and the children will learn today. Perfect it’s warming for winter but the berries reminded me spring is around the corner. As much as I love the changing seasons and celebrating them here in the north east US it’s that in between time still cold melting snow rain drizzle not the winter and not spring. Here at 5:15 am starting my day out with such a sense of savoring each moment, Thank you for such a beautiful video as always ❤ A change in routine is so refreshing and enjoyable, and the reward from it delicious.
