In WI you do not need to be legal to get an ID....promoted by a republican gov at the time. When getting my car registration renewal in person there was a sign that read "no birth certificate? ID can still be issued" while volunteers asking if Hispanic looking people are registered to vote, speaking Spanish to me while I respond in English...asking me if I speak English as I responded to them in English...weird. Again, you do not need to provide a birth certificate to get an ID, and people asked if I need help registering to vote in a language that is secondary to English. I held this opinion for a while, the current admin is doing things so that the next admin can "return" and do things they were not able to do before...different ends of the same snake. Layup and dunk while we cheer.
