He could've quit if he didn't like it. He knew he was harassing honest hard working men. He did it anyway. It was cool of him to tell Frank the truth but a hired gun is still a hired gun. If someone hired me to murder someone else could I simply tell the judge "oh it's not MY fault I was just doing my job as a hitman".
@BALLARDTWIN
@BALLARDTWIN Жыл бұрын
@@flightofthebumblebee9529 That's a bullshit comparison! Carver us a cop and he's doing his job THE STATE hired and pays him to do! Valchek is merely his senior commander who issues orders! These orders are also within the guidelines, I'm sure if valcheck asked carver to kill sobotka he'd refuse! Come on man! Nobody is quiting their job because "muh I'm good not bad" Fighting the system is exhausting and will end in failure majority of the time, even a small win doesn't make a difference. You saw what they did to Daniels and he was a lieutenant! It's not the working mans job to fight the system it's those donkeys wearing suites in congress job! Working mans just working to feed his familya n live!

@@BALLARDTWIN I agree. I was in a different mind frame when I typed that. Carver turns out to definitely be one of the good guys and it would suck to lose a cop like him because of parking tickets. cause the run of the mill ticket cop is not smart enough to actually apply the law book to write proper tickets apart from a few he knows to cite on the streets usually. So they wouldn't be able to pull this off. Gotta get some one who can actually apply the law. One reason intelligent people go libertarian is cause they understand that literally everyone in town is breaking some law or other - usually multiple laws before lunch every day.

The Supreme Court has ruled that the police have no constitutional obligation to protect. Their job is to enforce law and go after criminals. So, yeah, it's fucked up, but don't look at police for help. It's *literally* not their job.

To serve and protect their bosses, politicians and their rich buddies, not ordinary people. Why should they really care about what happens to ordinary citizens anyway? It's not like we can go to the competition when they fail to do their jobs. We can do that with a private company on a free market when it doesn't do what we expect it to do , but not with the so-called government "services". We're stuck paying them no matter how poor a job they do.
