But, given a long enough timeline, I'd imagine Valchek is going to fall from corruption or having to do favors for the big money men just to stay in his position.

cause the run of the mill ticket cop is not smart enough to actually apply the law book to write proper tickets apart from a few he knows to cite on the streets usually. So they wouldn't be able to pull this off. Gotta get some one who can actually apply the law. One reason intelligent people go libertarian is cause they understand that literally everyone in town is breaking some law or other - usually multiple laws before lunch every day.

How is a drinking establishment even allowed to serve alcohol at 8 AM? Bars usually have last call around 1 AM and aren't allowed to re-open until 11AM.

@@danielwarren3138 - it does. In my city some bars are 24 hours and you can buy booze any time after 6am and stores dont stop selling it until 2am. So only a 4 hour window where you would have to go to a bar to drink.

In more populated areas with industry, bars are pretty much 24/7, as 3rd shift folks need somewhere to ease off after an 8 - 12 hour workday

I haven't really seen any bars that opened up before 11 AM. But I've gone to the grocery store and bought beer at 8 AM sometimes(but usually just to take home to put in my fridge).

It's not like we can go to the competition when they fail to do their jobs. We can do that with a private company on a free market when it doesn't do what we expect it to do , but not with the so-called government "services". We're stuck paying them no matter how poor a job they do.
