16:53 has to be one of the most incredible moments in sport not just Badgers history. How the last 2 minutes of that Minnesota game panned out were simply amazing and I was able to be there and saw it all happen with my own eyes. Pretty cool.

I think #1 should be Scott Starks' fumble return against Purdue 12:12, given Orton had the first down and all Purdue would need is three kneeldowns (UW was out of TOs). That play won an award for national play of the year. Making it extra special is that Purdue, ranked #5 at that time, has sucked continuously for the 19 years since.

If you were in Wisconsin when Dayne took the all time rushing mark this was a special decade for football in Wisconsin and in Green Bay a sleeping giant had finally awoken on top of it all!

I cannot exactly date it: I would guess mid 1980's. My memory is Michigan at Wisconsin. 31 seconds left in the 1st half. Badgers either kick or punt. Michigan receiving team muffs the ball near the goal-line, badgers recover and convert to an instant touchdown, and extra point. Badgers kick off, and exact same thing happens again. Another instant touchdown and extra point. Badgers kick again, and I don't recall how it happens but before the end of the half the Badgers have possession of the ball in field goal range. Final play of the half - field goal. 17 points in 31 seconds. Took the wind right out of Michigan (if I remember the opponent correctly). The other interesting statistic of the game (other than the badgers won) was that there was a tie for the leading receiver for the Michigan Quarterback.... A badger defender. Film/video of those 31 seconds exist somewhere. I've saw it on TV back in the day.

One that might be missing is Matt Bernstein's big game against Penn State. A fullback filling in at tailback rushes for 123 yards on a College Game Day showcase while fasting for Yom Kippur. Defiantly not as big as some of these, but that hurtle over the linebacker will forever been ingrained in my memory

Badgers vs LSU was the greatest NCAA football game I ever watched, it forced ESPN to stop sleeping on the B1G and the Badgers, and exposed how overrated LSU was, and almost predictably Fournette was not only stoppable, but he became a bust in the NFL while Corey Clement may have went undrafted, he won a super bowl with the Eagles! It was a ground and pound smashmouth game, low scoring, where even field goals were desperately needed points. The Badgers defense for 59 out of 60 minutes played the best defense EVER! And let's not even get into how many future NFL players were on that defense! For better or worse, that 2016 Badgers team had: Vince Biegel, TJ Watt, Ryan Connelly, Jack Cichy, Natrell Jamerson, Nick Nelson, Loudermilk, Leon Jacobs, TJ Edwards, and Zach Baun! AND THAT'S JUST ON DEFENSE! SOME OF THOSE GUYS WEREN'T STARTING YET!

Hardcore Badger fan since the 1980's, so hopefully I have some perspective! This is a great video! It's hard to define "greatest moment." Does that mean the greatest play? Greatest performance (many plays?). Greatest upset? Most meaningful win? I really commend you for putting a combination of all of these. I cannot disagree with any of your choices, or order of them, for that matter. I totally agree that the 1994 Rose Bowl win stands as the greatest moment in Badger history -- until they enter the playoff and/or win a national championship. Last note: Love the shoutout to the Dave McClain era with Wisconsin's first bowl win. Unfortunately it is hard to find video, but including the wins over #1 Michigan and also Ohio State in '81 would be cool.
