More polished. More little niche soundscapes in there that really catch your attention. Production is great. Such a beautiful album with everything you could want from the genre you are in.

I got shown CitC a while ago and couldn't really get into it at the time, but as of a few weeks ago I'm happy to say that this band has one of the best three album runs of any band I've ever listened to. Each album has it's own vibe, it's own piece of the overarching story, and for what is essentially the second act, this one is by no means the low point. Can't wait to see what the next album brings 🤘

I loved Castles pretty much the moment I've heard the title track, but over time it kept growing on me even more, somewhat like a relationship, kind of, progressing towards higher level of appreciation and love, becoming the album that I can reach for at any time in any mood. The one that always will make my day better.Can't wait to see what time brings (sorry) with The Lost City. Feels like it will be just as good, if not better. On a side note, if you guys can make lyrical explanation posst on fb like you did with Castles, that would be great. It definitely solidified and enchanced listening experience. Not sure if it's necessary though as I haven't really read the whole story yet but had to type something just to keep listening. Thank you, TWMF.

Definitely feel that! also as small as it sounds, having no gap between songs while another streaming video loads makes a big difference when listening.

Good question! We searched trademarks involving the name before we formed and found nothing registered under The Wise Man's Fear, and titles of movies/books can't really be copyrighted. Plus, we're a small enough band operating in a different industry that we couldn't really be considered a competitor (there are tons of different companies that have the same names but can't or don't pursue each other because of differing industries). But most importantly, Pat is just a kind, generous man who I don't think would want to take down a band for admiring his work. I think he'd rather see artists supporting one another across mediums. From the interviews I've watched of him he seems to love it when people take inspiration from him, which I think is great! He doesn't' get caught in the rat race of stepping on others or lashing out at people (part of what makes him inspirational to me), and he's an all-round good dude. Long story short: There's a chance it's possible, but we don't think it's likely.
