playing this in my hs band class rn (this is my first year of band, so its really hard for me and i struggle with consistently hitting notes lol) and its really fun to play. the song in itself is also really beautiful and hearing it live feels magical

I just received this in Grade 12 wind ensemble this morning (3rd trombone btw) and the amount of low Ds I have to play is insane!!!!!!!!

Ayo same lol. We've been playing it since August but yeah. I'm third trombone as well. I love the piece so much. It's funny tho cause I can't play the low D. Not cause I don't want to or don't have the ability to it's just that my mouth piece won't let me do the pedal tones. Very fun piece tho. Have fun playing it my guy.
