Hey guys!
This video is probably the biggest project I've ever done. It took hours and hours of writing and double-checking the script, several more hours finding image assets and recording footage, and a butt-load of hours editing everything together.

This guide is more so a class guide than a PvE guide. It is formated for newer players who are looking into the class and want to know what each and every skill does. I do touch on certain abilities that mention PvP mechanics but I don't go into anything related to playing this class for PvP.

Worth mentioning that in Awakening almost all skills can be used via Hotkeys, at the cost of being a bit slower casting and flow activation. Also, Spellbound Heart seems bugged at the moment (or has always been) in that while in combat you won't get the 250 mana tick at all, once out of combat it kicks in normally. No idea what causes this to happen, nor what eventually fixes it.

Weird, on my xbox I dont have that problem. After casting that I have no mana issues. It's when I forget to make sure its turned on when I run out of mana. I'm just thankful that recovery and healing lighthouse give me mana at that point.

there are written guides of pre-reboot in the description. Most of it is relavent post-reboot and the only things missings are the new things added post-reboot but you can still learn a lot from it.

Jaycoon, did the Prime: Multiple Magic Arrows got rework (cannot take the previous elemental skill as magic arrow) in today BDO patch? (your 22:08 vid)?

make sure you are chaining the spell properly by holding S+RMB during the animation of the infusion you want. ie: during the animation of voltaic pulse, hold S+RMB to chain it. Also ensure that multiple magic arrows is off cooldown. the elemental infusion will only work when Prime: Multiple Magic arrows is off cooldown, it has a 5 second cooldown.

Addons are purely preference where you want to put what addon on what spell, so do that if you prefer. For me, the atk/cast speed addon is already on voltaic so i don't need a duplicate elsewhere so i instead put 7% movespeed as a filler.

In terms of succession, witch has the improved elemental multiple magic arrows and can cast multiple magic arrows after ANY SPELL +improved magical evasion which has a shorter cooldown and longer distance. Whereas wizard has split teleport, meaning both regular/ultimate Tele can be used independently but doesnt have the improved multiple magic arrows or evasion. Otherwise everything is the same. Because of the difference, succ witch has a better pve kit due to spammable magic arrows and wizard has a better pvp kit due to split teleport.

In terms of awakening, their kits are completely different but perform similar niches as a close-range AoE caster. Witch has a more defensive playstyle with a block ability and has more forward guard spells whereas wizard has a more offensive playstyle with a grab ability instead and has less forward guards. In terms of mob clearspeed, both are very similar with wizard pulling slightly ahead.

it is actually a mix of cooldown slots and quickslots arranged like this gyazo.com/99bad678d61e6bedfa8716ddd6916d9b there's no rocket science behind it, just a random order in a box shape. You can untick "auto-align slot" for more precise positioning

How important is Magical lighthouse use on every pack? Also, will I lose out if I don’t cast the flow to Fissure Wave, PVE only. Holding the entire input is a bit awkward.

if packs are dangerous or extremely tanky, it's useful to have it placed down to reposition for back attacks as well as avoiding damage, otherwise if you're one-shotting packs or only spending a few seconds per pack, there's no need to magic lighthouse at all. As for flow of fissure wave "perfect sign", it's an extremely powerful spell when gorr is summoned so i would always recommend casting it. They did make a recent change where instead of needing to hold s+lmb+rmb to cast perfect sign, you can just hold lmb+rmb to cast it which will free up the left hand to prepare for the next spell.

Hi, I'm a new bdo player and I finally end seasonal with my Witch lvl 61 awakening, I do have question about the summons. Should I always use the right summon for the specific element they buff? Like, having Goor activated for Earth skills and Tett for lightning if that makes sense C:

it would be very cumbersome to do so, i would just recommend having 1 summon out and do not switch for your grind sessions.
