On series x did it have 60 fps from fps booster even before the update? I played it a few days before update and then after on performance mode. Did not notice all that improvement in graphic... Maybe some textures but it waa good and smooth even before...

Performance Mode on Series S doesn't look like 1080p. I think its bigger - 1260p or dynamic 1440p (more dynamic than in quality mode). Or maybe this is result of FSR 2.1.

Im not really graphics person, so light differences does not matter and when Im gaming I dont compare. Anything from 360 times onward are enough good graphics for me. But faster loading times and fast return to games option is something important.

Yeah very true, watching the loading screen difference made me laugh out loud because everytime I’ve tried gaming with friends on my Xbox one S I’m like 2 minutes behind them in loading screens and sh1t so the upgrade to the Series S will be well worth it! 🤣

The RTGI and RTAO is noticeable from a mile away. The biggest thing is the colouration and how grass have dark ao under them which makes them feels grounded instead of the nonRT one. Oh btw. Series s doesn't have RT in quality mode.

Broke down and bought a series x because it has better performance than my pc that has a ryzen 5 3600x and 2060 and also for the next gen sports titles. PC still useful for everything else though such as music production, video editing, and a little programming and developing.

I think that you made a mistake with the titles in your comparations, because when you compare the 3 consoles series S looks better than the other and when you compare only S & X, this last looks way better and looks pretty similar to the S from the first comparation, and I don't think that series S was quicker than X when you download a game.

It's not true 4k, it's basically using DLSS to reach 60fps. If you look closely it says "dynamic 4k"

Lol no, SS is more washed out and grey, SX is more vibrant and nice, pretty sure it is the hdr settings were set different on the two consoles so it isn’t 100% accurate

Just got the series X today and have been playing on my first playthrough of this amazing game since 2016 with almost 300hrs,went 2-3 years of rarely playing it. The game is massive,its own world so rich and full of things to encounter or find or stumble unto. Ill probably play a good 200-500 more hours of playing with the DLC i have for it. The game looks great and plays very smooth on the X. I dont even have a 4k tv but will be getting one within a year. The load times are where the real notiveable differences come into play and quick resume is cool but wont work with online games. The main reason i chose the series X over the series S is the memory. The X has plenty of memory with 800 gb. I filled 17 x/s optimized games with the 800gb,i think its 805gb. Plus the X is future proof and i should be set for 5-7 years. May eventually buy an official memory stick.

press the two thumb sticks at the same time and it will switch to photo mode. it's kinda buggy when you're on horse. you can change cameras in settings under gameplay section

Na, might seem that way now but factor in things like the disc drive, storage and power and the money is well worth it. I got the S as a side console to my PS5...the storage on the S is already completely full and the inability to buy cheaper physical games is incredibly annoying. Also keep in mind that the S is playing older games well. Future titles and even stuff coming out recently hasn't been so kind to the S. Some games are maxing out at 30fps which isn't great in 2023. I like the console for what it is but I would never say that I wish I would have gotten the cheaper weaker console as my main console.

Check what version you have - If its 4.0.0.1 or higher you are good. But your console may need to connect online to verify you own the game at times - unless its set as your "home console"

One thing I think some people forget is as someone like me who owns a Xbox s you can change the color layout of the screen to make things pop more you don't need to buy the next gen to do all that I hope they don't force everyone into buying the next gen systems I like my one and don't see a reason to upgrade any time soon I've had it for 5 years and it's never broken down me once and holds up.

in this part of the blood and wine DLC why does vegetation on Xbox One keep disappearing and reappearing, giving a lot of pop-ins? Soapy grass, low draw distance and soapy textures in dialogs annoy me. This soap appears precisely in the dialogues, outside of them there are no problems at all. And sometimes there is a bug with the sound after meditation, the sound lags. I hope that in the near future they will release a patch for consoles, and indeed for all platforms, otherwise I can’t play like that
