Hey! Yes, this is running stock with nothing else installed, 45 on high is very possible yeah, but there are some scenarios that drop slightly below that :)

How's the battery life tho I heard it ran 1.5 hrs on the og sd but how long is it on oled

800p/720p on steam deck compared to on rog ally. Valve really knows what they are doing for their console

@@loverofgames1092 Thats usually shader related, it happens the first few times that you start a game, but it goes away very fast

@@Deckster978it’s not DX11 they wouldn’t even show the option for ray tracing. U used DX12 in this video

I’m leaning towards this over ally. I’m used to Xbox console and I’m a Mac guy. I’m not really tech savvy. Just want a download/play device. I’ll be playing offline a lot also.

Fair but definitely still consider the Legion go or Ally, it might be a little intimidating at first but way more versatile, better chip inside and lots of discounts on these devices. You can achieve much more than 60fps on them and run newer games as well.

@@Deckster978 the steam deck is more a console experience correct ? Having a windows handheld wouldn’t make sense to me as it was the reason I went down the mac path to begin with 🥴😂
