When you applied the pleather, it made it look genuine. Great job so far Chris.

: "Chris, you comin out tonight?" Chris: "Nah..Sorry, I just blew the months budget on shoe polish again!" Great video. I actually used a hot pen to cut all the holes in my aquaman gauntlets , and then laced them with thin elastic cord, so that they look laced, but slide right on.

I'ma use a similar design for a Scorpion cosplay from MK 1. I never liked the fabric version of the padding, so I'll just do this and extend it while adding additional cuts. Thanks bro, I really needed this

That is one hell of a witcher costume! 👍 I actually prefer the way his costume looks in the games over the show (although I appreciate, that they did this as a nod to the games). Probably, because the games' costumes had more visual interest than just rivets. But man, seeing this get made out of foam - I don't know, it just elevates my acceptance for the costume. I might really come to turns with the design after seeing you build it.

Question. How do you attach/put on the bicep bracer? I'm struggling to find a way to do it that's secure. I'd love to see a video of you putting the whole outfit on. Beautiful work btw! You've been my main source of reference for my own Geralt Armor!
@DamysAtelier3 жыл бұрын
Either Velcro or a strip that goes around the bicep.

As a medieval arms and armour enthusiast, I massively prefer Geralt's in game armour. Its WAAAAAY better designed in terms of functionality. The shows armour is just fantasy trite. Henry as The Witcher though? Awesome. He killed it as Geralt.

Man you would not believe how many people go into my comments asking how contact adhesive works. READ THE LABEL PEOPLE. Also is there any reason the rivets are so chaotically placed? Like why did they make his armour like that?

That was good. Got some skills this lad !

I'm also conflicted, there are some pics I can find where the bicep part is two pieces vs. just 1. Mainly screen shots from the show not on posters.

While this is incredibly cool, I've had to reglue over and over again the pleather to the foam. What wasn't mentioned here were the complications and how to resolve them.

I saw a new iron giant toy at Walmart today. It's about 12 inches tall, but is very cheap looking. Maybe you could work your magic on it.

Also... there’s three pads? There are two on the bicep, I only see the shoulder and single bicep one you’ve made... are you making the other ones?
@xoxorini3 жыл бұрын
It depends on the version of the armour. In the first episodes he has two pads. The beltpart also is different.
