I empathize with Rob so much, i have group amazing friends that I often find myself having to go "quit it and focus n the task at hand!". That said there are times when I am the one needs to be refocused. I'm loving having this series on while i play games on my other screen, don't think I could sit and just watch this (or play D&D myself) exclusively but it is fun to listen/watch especially the cut always. Don't know about anyone else but I am watching for the cut always and the general barely contained chaos these guys have and watching poor amazing Rob mange to gently prod them along the path.

Years ago, at a local game day, i once played a highest level berserker, death-wishing dwarf. Luckily i had great comrades when it came my turn. We were fighting a huge, deadly t rex kind of beast, i raged, used my battle axe with all the extras being high level like double-strike, etc. And various buffs increasing my attacks lethality, armour buff, etc. That’s where my mates added up all of these components before i went in for the kill. And in i did. As it opened it’s dagger-studded mouth i leapt in and from its stomach i obliterated it the inside out. Exploding cheers startled the other players at the tables as i emerged covered in blood, guts, and gore i was a verrry happy dwarf that day.

I've not been into D&D before. My husband and son recently started trying to get a campaign going with me so this series is not only fun to watch but helpful as well. Though not quite sure how much I'm learning. FYI my character has a propensity to carry a brick of cheese around with her to nibble on. Wolves don't like that any more than potatoes I've found out.

Honestly when the combat started I thought that they should only attack Wither since that's what the firbolg told them, but considering how dangerous he was described and how he had an ability which could literally 1hit KO everyone I assumed they weren't meant to be fighting him, and he was just introduced here to be fought a few levels later.
