Kyle can relate because she drinks a bit herself. Ok...thats wrong. She's always drinking. And Rinna. Most of them do. All the seasons..the word "drink" comes up all the time and not for water. I'm surprised no one says anything about that until Erika wanted people to see her drunk. There's nothing wrong with drinking, but the conversations get way off the charts afterwards and the next day they're confused. Well.of course..booze was doing all the talking.

Speaking from someone who is 3 years sober and who drank to make herself feel anything I understand why and what about Erika’s drinking “to have fun” because also think, if she was seen “having fun and she was sober” people would run her across the coals for Daring to enjoy life while the victims of her husband suffer. She is in a no win public situation and so for her the best way to get by is at least get drunk AF and have a little fun then at least you can blame it all on the alcohol and prescription meds. So Erika I get. Not a pass but I understand what I am seeing. Now what and who I don’t understand is what’s Sutton excuse for being the insensitive self centered person she is? I feel the exact same way!!! I love these two women together. They’re honest and they check each other when they need to be checked. That’s what real friends do. My best friends are friends that I’ve had since I was a little girl and I was born in the 70s. We all live in different states now, but when we talk on the phone it’s just like we were little girls or teenagers spending the night at each other‘s homes and just giggling and behave like young girls. Other than Sutton and Garcelle, I don't think the other females are really friends, I just think they have a pact. They always seem to be performing while Sutton and Garcelle just seem to be living their lives with cameras there... and have saved the show, IMO. Garcelle defends Sutton and rightly so! The others come after her like a pack of hyenas! And tearing Sutton down WILL NOT elevate any of them. Sutton is only a liabilty to the other HW's, but an asset to Garcelle. There’s a thing about Erika and Garcelle. Garcelle is extending her the same amount of grace and compassion that the other girls are extending her, but she’s doing it in a different way in from a completely different approach. I think, whereas Kyle has experience with addiction, she is walking on eggshells because she doesn’t want to trigger anything, Garcelle is being preventative and trying to stop someone from getting to a place where they could even be considered an addict in the first place and I think that is because Garcelle cares and doesn’t want her to get to that place, again from a place of experience with family member’s addiction. Same intention, different approach. That’s why she’s approaching it the way she’s approaching it, and other people are reading it as more malicious than concerned. I think that Garcelle wanting her to get a handle on this now when you’re able to acknowledge what the issue is before it becomes an existential Problem is caring just as much as someone like Kyle understanding that she’s been through a lot and needs to let her hair down and have some fun.
