I missed the initial run, but I did see the tenth and twentieth anniversary tours, both featuring Stephanie Mills as Dorothy, and between the two I also got to see Charles Valentino as the Scarecrow and André DeShields as the Wiz. 🙂 Stephanie tore it up both times!

THE ONE TRUE WIZ!!!! THIS is the version of The Wiz that won 7 Tony awards, that ran for over four years and sparked several national tours and international companies, that is remembered fondly by all who saw it live. I am so thankful to live during a time that these clips can be experienced! LONG LIVE THE WIZ!
