Ten years after the release they learned it was actually a munchkin who had h*ng himself onset and had accidentally made the Final Cut. And to make it even worse she had to lose lots of weight so to make it faster everyone called her a fat pig with pig tails. Jack Haley did not develop breathing problems from the silver makeup. That was Buddy Ebsen. They made the makeup for Haley a paste applied to his face. And Bert Lahr could only eat through a straw.
