Agree with what he says at the end. More customization and upgrades would've been awesome, but there's always something that can be added in any game. Still, this is in my top 3 favorite VR action games, next to Alyx and Arizona Sunshine.

Hey wolf if you are reading this I just wanted to say that you missed a part of the crystal claws spell and I was wandering if you could go back to the game and Check it out in adventure or something. To use it just gut both crystal claws and hold grip on both hands then wait a couple seconds then pull it apart

Yeah, on EVERY single magic tutorial he clicked end tutorial and missed the second page on every single one that gave details on elemental states or an additional way to use the spell. the lightning ball and the alternate (useful) version of the crystals are the main thing missed. The radiance power describes how to power it up, but you pretty much did that all the time anyway (spend some time holding it as a ball to power it up before ripping it apart)

A thing you did not use is with the shards you can also take them close to each other and then you can make like missiles that gets more and more and when you're at max you can take your hands apart and you'll make missiles that if you touch them with your hands you shoot them and they seek enemies!!!!

Yeah they definitely put their effort into the magic for the first game, pretty bare otherwise. But they've really stepped up the game since!

@@AWolfinVR It's funny actually, your main complaint on this game was the lack of customization and RPG elements, but those ARE actually present in the first one. You get the basic spells and then have to upgrade them. The shield is JUST a shield at first, no throwing until upgrade level 3. The lightning requires you to leave your hands together until fully upgraded, and don't chain until the first upgrade. Stuff like that. That castle memento you found is from the first game, that used to be how you travelled from place to place from your home base.

I do actually feel like the first The Wizards game is still worth playing after this one, honestly. While this game DOES improve on some elements, the first game is a very different gameplay structure that in some ways I preferred. There's also more bosses in the first game, and all of them are better than the single boss in this game imo. Still, the added spell variety in this game is a huge plus for it and the environments also look a lot better as well. Collectables also have an actual purpose in the first game, in the form of shards that upgrade your spells and cards that augment your character or enemy's power. Regardless, I've really enjoyed watching this playthrough!
