People always love memeing about the whole "choices matter" thing as if Telltale or any developer for that matter could pump out an interactive story on the scale of Detroit: Become Human in less than 5 years lmao. It's so easy to take 1 minute to type on the keyboard wishing for things that would add months and even years of more work on the dev's side. Besides, with something like TWAU that's written to be an actual prequel and not just another take on an already-established story or universe (e.g. Batman, The Walking Dead, Tales from the Borderlands), there are very few things that can be done without contradicting the original story's characterizations and plots. Hell, the fact that Bigby's extremely nerfed enough to the point of having trouble with Gren, Bloody Mary, and anyone else who doesn't use anything silver is already contradicting to the comic Bigby. But who cares? They're writing a great story that people can experience through gameplay. I don't give a shit if everything is already pre-determined; literally every other single player game there is has pre-determined plot, why does it matter so much that Telltale's adaptations follow the same formula just because you're tasked to make a few choices that would affect some parts of the story differently?

His werewolf form is cool as hell now, so much better than the first game’s. He looks more like what I imagine a real werewolf to be. Also Bigby in anger management is kinda a neat touch, trying to control his rage so he doesn’t go on killing fables like he might’ve in the first game. I love Bigby's new 3/4s Wolf Form. It looks a lot less human face wise, but I think it conveys him accepting that more animalistic side of him as time goes on. In the first game he was hesitant of going past 2/4s. But now? He is comfortable being more menstruous if it gets the job done. At least that's my interpretation of the new design for that form. Super nice job!! Can't wait to play!

I see his forms as human, half-werewolf, werewolf and Wolf in the original game. Here, I'm wondering if they made werewolf look more like an actual werewolf, or whether these characters unleashed the Wolf. If these characters, who seem to be the Scarecrow and the Tinman from Wizard of Oz, unleashed the Wolf, then they must be pretty powerful. If that is the Scarecrow and the Tinman, is the woman on the couch Dorothy? And where is the Lion?

If you play it a second time you realize all the emphasis on choice and time urgency was bullshit. Snow white's character was annoying more than anything, and pretty much no matter what you do in the game leading up to the end it's only the final choices that decide which ending you get. Otherwise pretty good. Solid 6/10. Fun sometimes, less fun other times.

@@protog2663 TWUA had a crap load of bugs, it was laggy and the last part wasn't even voice properly. That wasn't just for me that happend for many people. If they fixed that before they bought out the first TWUA then it would have gotten awards left right and centre. Hopefully they fix all the bugs before they bring the 2nd one out.

This looks awesome, liked the use of Light Up The Night by The Protomen. Bigby talking to the therapist and not being able to disclose certain things reminds me of The Sopranos. Wonder if that's a direct reference or not. I also think Telltale would do quite well with Neil Gaiman's Sandman. Fables reminds me a little of it and if they did a original storyline like they did with Wolf Among Us it'd be quite interesting.

The music track here was "Light up the Night" by The Protomen - which is a rock opera telling a story using Megaman characters. It is amazing. Definitely check them out with lyrics, as a lot of it is intended to have descriptors of what's going on in the scene. This specific track is about planning to blow up a tower being used to spread propaganda. Act 1 was basically made in a garage with low quality audio a loooong, long time ago. This track is from Act 2, and the genre of music changes as it goes from inventors trying to make a better world (a western kinda theme) to classic rock, then to a blend of like techno and metal in Act 1 as the city becomes influenced by corruption. Saw them live once at Kilby Court. They signed my poster and my girlfriend. Awesome dudes!
