A Harp Twins original Nordic song! “The Wolf Lullaby” is a song that we wrote, and it is very special to us. So many songs tell of longing for the day. We wanted to create a song in the opposite vein… A song longing and waiting for the night. The Wolf in our story is a fantastical creature of myth and legend - a creature who is the Keeper and Guardian of the night. She is not only of the Earth, but of the Sky. Her coat is made of stars and her eyes are moonlight. Our original song is our own imaginative story, and we hope it brings you to an ethereal and serene place of magical peace. Everything that you hear in the video is just our harps and our voices - exactly like we can perform it live with no overlays or backing tracks. We are incredibly excited to share this original song with all of you. You two should make a full behind the scenes video on what it takes to make a single video like this, maybe skip the location scouting but include schlepping in all the gear, changing from "street" clothes to the video wear and getting the perfect shots. I know folks who do "simple" scripted videos on auto repair and other topics who say that for a single 20 minute video they have between 10 and 20 hours of shooting, editing and post work.
