I was eight years old when the hunger strikes began. My city went up in flames. I'm now fifty, and I could not be more proud of another generation of Irish people's veneration of Joe and the nine volunteers that gave all. God willing, I'll see the United Ireland they dreamed of. UTP.

Wolfe tones my favourite song of Grace. It's very poignant to irish citizens that's 1916 leaders of ireland history we never forget. To 5hink to know ur going to be executed by a foreign state that has no place of existence in our country. That u could not carry ur love grace. .its gmgeartbreaking our 1916 leaders led with honour. We honour them.

As a Falls Road Irish Republican now living abroad, this made me feel really homesick and remember those terrible but also Revoluitionary days of the Hunger Strike, I was an active Republican and also worked for the H-Block committees attended most demos right across Ireland, I also attended all 10 funerals and felt that terrible sense of loss as my comrades in the struggle died one after the other. I was also remanded in custody on false charges after The Hunger Strike spending 7 months in H2 and a further 2 months in the Crum b4 the charges on the word of a Supergrass were dropped. But I was so proud of that time in The H-Blocks were many of my comrades had been. T.A.L. UP THE REBELS!✊💚💚🤍🤍🧡🧡✊
