I've watched this a couple years ago. I believe there are still some clips missing. I remember a plot twist. ML was also at the same place and at the same time where the FL was with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend was painting a lifetime together. She was playing the violin. ML stop to listen to her and fell in love with her. His deceased girlfriend took FL identity, he thought it was deceased girlfriend. That's how I remember it.

Oh I remember now. The reason why the first painting was important to him, It was because he saw his girlfriend from the back while she was playing the violin. The painting reminded him how he first seen her and fell in love with her. So the painting was very important to him. He didn't necessarily think that the painting of that woman was his girlfriend. It just brought up his most memorable moments with his girlfriend. Since his wife was the most hated person to him, her wearing that red dress took away his precious memories of her. So of course the sister wanted to destroyed and put the blame on wife. The sister didn't want anything that reminded the ML of her sister.

They took that entirely out of this and makes it's even worse to watch and did it end like that? I was beyond disappointed at the end bc it's not like ML knowingly killed FL bf. IRL, I couldn't be mad at someone who didn't know anything... But that's me putting myself in these CP situations lol. Thanks so much 🤙

@sadiecakes2284 I don't think it ended like that. I think he knew she was there, but he continued to walk pass her. He slowly realizes that the woman he loved was not his deceased girlfriend. His guilt and betrayal overwhelm him. He knows that their tanglement was too tragic and he doesn't have the courage to face it. Just think, if he really knew that his heart matched with her boyfriend, what would he have done if he found out the boyfriend was with the woman he fell in love with. It was just a rabbit hole he can't face because he was always on the cusp of moral cliff.

How rediculas, he's blaming her for his girlfriends death, she wasn't driving the car, and it looked as though the girlfriend drove across in front of them, so she caused the accident, and why put up with his rubbish, turn the tables on him saying not only did his girlfriend kill her boyfriend / husband but his heart is what is keeping this guy alive, so he owes her big time, not the other way round.

I felt ending was realistic, fl was there just for her husband heart and what ever ml did was just keep on reminding of her decreased husband. Even though she got attracted to him at the end to the ml. She also knows that it is impossible to be with the person who killed her husband.

Really I’m sorry but at the art Exhibition when he found out about him having the heart all that had to be said then was her husband died in that car accident and your alive because of him things would have been smoother then. If the FL had any respect for herself she would’ve told him earlier than when he found out. But this falls in line with the Stereotype of the subservient Asian Woman.
