Nightbloom is one of my favourites, my heart says Brotherless Night for the win

I do so need to read Nightbloom. My heart would want Soldier, Sailor to win but I'm never right.

I have it on order from the library - have heard many good things about it

I have read 8 from the longlist and my favorites are Nightbloom, In Defence of the Act and The Maiden. I am sad that they aren't on the shortlist. Of the ones I have read from the shortlist so far, I am cheering for Soldier Sailor.

Soldier Sailor is my personal favourite. I enjoyed The Maiden but am still waiting for my library to deliver In Defence of the Act and Nightbloom

I’m disappointed that Restless Dolly Maunder took the place of something that was better IMO-The Defence of the Act, Hangman, Nightbloom, and Ordinary Human Failings. I still need to read The Wren, The Wren, Enter Ghost, and Soldier Sailor

I had read books on the list that I preferred to Dolly as well. I wanted 8 Lives to be on there as well.
