Calling all Digidestineds!! This week on The Wonder of Anime I'm joined by the incredible Serrandon. Serrandon (Sir-ran-den) is a director, photographer, and content creator based in Los Angeles. Inspired by anime, video games, and pop culture of the late 90s & 2000s, Serrandon produces vibrant, "in-your-face" content that makes you feel like a tween again. Serrandon has a web series titled, Plug_N an immersive retrospect show that gives a fresh perspective on video games, tech, and toys from yesteryear.
In this episode we discuss the 2001 anime, Digimon Tamers! We talk about why it was so different from Digimon Adventures, the darker theme it discusses, the new movies, and so much more.

Ahhh LimeWire days, I remember those *inhales cigarette* lol jkjkjk I really liked Serrandon's point about shows and toy sales! That's one of the reason's one of my fav shows (Young Justice) got cancelled when I was a tween, the toys weren't moving. Companies love looking at profit smh. Digimon definitely would have been as big as Pokémon if they marketed it properly for sure! Love his love of the 2000s, great episode!
