You're not wrong, I first saw them in 88/89 and loads of time after that all round the country, they always put on a feckin great show, 8 Legged Groove Mc and HUP were the soundtrack to my life for 3 or 4 years, Gilksy always looked the happiest drummer I'd ever seen, he was born to play the drums

notice all the crowd going wild and jumping around - nowadays everyone would be standing still carefully recording the band playing on their iPhone.

the bouncers throwing you on the floor when you "surfed" to the front, and then doing it again, lol good times.

I remember watching this documentary on my 20th birthday in my parents' lounge with my friends, rather tipsy. I thought this video was the most exciting thing ever. Saw them at various festivals (Reading, Feile) around this time.

Tickets to this concert were given to me by my now husband for my 21st birthday present; fantastic memories...fast forward 20 years and I reunited with the people I went to this gig with to see The Wonderstuff and Salvation support The Mission in Leeds. Miles has grown his hair again and for all the world it was like I'd gone back in time to see him looking as he did all those years ago; I felt like I was young again. 20 years have past but they were as good as they ever were. Love you stuffies!

Miles Hunt always said that the Stuffies would never play a stadium but when they played at Bescott he said it was too small to count as a proper stadium. I was there, it was a great gig, Stuffies on top form plus a great set from Spirit of the West who were from Canada and Neds. I love the way it goes from black and white which was recorded at the soundcheck to colour when the tempo goes up.

I remember in the years of their hay day. They played the Metro in Chicago and I managed to get myself on top of the mosh pit, stiffening my body for easy transference, the crowd carried me directly in front of Miles and I gave him the Devil horns and he gave them back with a flick of the tongue...
