Fucking amazing, and the metaphor of the dancer and Dan, and the band seemingly actually answering rumors that they might break up soon is awesome. The dancer TEARS DOWN the Retirement banner, and the lyrics point out that the fire in Dan's belly has been burning since he was 17 and how he'll be coughing up embers for decades. So despite the questioning of "What if the magic's gone" on the verses, he reassures us on the choruses that the fire is still burning and will continue.

You can't be referencing Bourdain in the first line of your song if it's not an absolute banger. Which this undoubtedly is. Early impressions on this album are so so good.

@TheWonderYearsBand Never EVER fails to disappoint, ever since 2005 when they initially formed. I can honestly say I’ve loved every single song they ever made, I started listening to them when I was a senior in High school, I’m now 35 years old and still love every song new and old. They will forever be in my bloodstream just like soupy’s daughters heartbeat is in his. Like I’ve always said, you guys deserve WAY more recognition than you currently get/have because you out do so many other musicians it’s ridiculous

Twy was introduced to me by my ex. I saw them live with her and she changed my life in quite a dramatic way, so as much as I love twy, it's hard to leave the sadness associated with a lot of the memories. In the end I guess that's a big part of their music: feeling, experiences with other people and reflecting on it, and trying to grow. It's been hard to push myself to get through these albums because of the past though. Hope everyone is enjoying to their heart's content, they are always giving us amazing music to return to time and again.
