From Wikipedia:
In January 2005, Mark E Smith and The Fall (described as "one of the most enigmatic, idiosyncratic and chaotic garage bands of the last 30 years") were the subject of a BBC 4 TV documentary, The Fall: The Wonderful and Frightening World of Mark E Smith.

Its not a rip off, is more like an obvious homage/borrowing. The Fall has always paid homage to their past influences in a bunch of covers or like in Elves, taking a legendary riff and take it to the Fall language. Other examples are I Am Damo Suzuki (they do Can) and Touch Sensitive (they do Velvet's Waiting for the man) and The War Against Intelligence (Son Of A Preacher Man). Anyways, we're all Fall fans, great doc, cheers.

Its a live intro from a 1979 gig, I have it on a CD called 'Totale's Turns'. That said it could be on any number of releases this is The Fall after all.

Read the sleeve notes seivad9 - 'Romping travesty' - Genius steals. Saw the Stooges at Benicassim, take or leave 'em. Saw the Fall in Manchester 2 (two) months ago. Mighty.

You know I hate to say this, because I really like The Fall and I'm quite anxious to learn more about Smith, but I am having a fuck of a time trying to understand what he says. He mumbles quite a bit when he talks.

Taking nothing away from the Fall, I think Triplesod is right. Beefheart's music has greater range.

It's also very similar to the song 'Crap Rap' which is on before 'Like To Blow' on the debut ('Live At The Witch Trials')

Yeah Imperial Wax Solvent was fucking good. Really critics didn't like it? the reviews I've read gave it 4 out of 5 stars. (Stewart Lee even called it a career high for them) And I agree over that "Taurig" is a fucking mint track, my fave though is stuck between "Strangetown", "Is This New", or "Senior Twilight Stock Replacer".
