Thanks for joining us today! The ICR Discovery Center is currently closed due to rising COVID-19 infections in the Dallas area, so this week’s Virtual Classroom session is a rebroadcast of a live presentation given.

Great presentation. Wealth of information for the land dwellers. Jacques Cousteau certainly made the right decision to stop dropping down further. This presentation was before the Titan submarine implosion tragedy of 2023. And, Luna Ticks. LOL. Good one. God bless you all at ICR.

Seeds didn’t have to survive for over a year in water as Noah ark didn’t start floating until the 40th day so a lot of the land remain water free until near the end

Yes, any scenario you dream up is possible when designing the plot for a sci-fi novel.

hard to hear the questions from the audience, maybe restate the question asked before the answer.

Strange how dinisaurs died out 66 million years ago but mammals, birds and other reptiles survived?.....

Atheist believe every thing they are told, as long they are not told about the Creator .

Many dinosaurs died because they could not adapt to the suddenly altered circumstances. Many other smaller animals survived because they were more flexible and adaptable, able to survive in smaller sheltered corners of the habitat.

@@akkafietje137 I believe everything I am told as long as there is accompanying evidence. I used to believe without question everything I was told, including about the "creator," but then I grew up and learned to think for myself.

Be true to your teeth and they won't be false to you 🤣 (And they won't evolve on you either 😅)

And yet, teeth have evolved!

Just a preference, but unless this class is third-graders, Dr. Sherwin's delivery is patronizing. Good information, sure, but does he have to prompt people to provide only the last word of his sentence? With it clearly projected behind him? It comes across like he's afraid people are nodding off, and they have to be poked with engagement --- not toooo hard, mind you, because they're also stupid. I found the habit annoying and interruptive when I was IN third grade. Forgive me if they ARE third graders... who need prompting with words like "water, Earth, two-ton tongue", with frequent checks to see if they can read. I'm in step with every iota of information provided, but not being treated like a moron. Maybe it's just me.
