The Wonders in Alegria, Cebu!

The municipality of Alegria is a 4th class municipality in the province of Cebu, the Philippines with a population of more than 23,000 people.
Alegria got its name when a group of Spaniards exclaimed “Que Alegre!” (How gleeful!) after seeing natives merrymaking around Tubod or natural spring.
Alegria boasts of scenic spots and attractive attractions that are too beautiful not to capture. when you're here look into the beauty of Cambais falls, Canlaob falls and Kitara falls. The freshwater springs of Canlaob springs will make you feel great, too!

This is the land of my ancestors. As a child I had the most amazing times with my cousins playing on the seawall, behind my lolas house, swimming and playing amongst the tide pools at low tide and eating the fruits that grew on nearby trees. Though faraway, this town and my fond memories of it have never left my heart and mind. Thanks for the trip back and one day I will return.

Alegria has oil field
