Those look great! I love the way you inlaid the circles and used the epoxy.

Nice trick for making the pucks with the pantograph. I will have to try that myself some time, instead of buying a large plug cutter.

Another great video, the game looks excellent, on my list of things to make. Who needs T.V when we have you, Steve and Matthias eh. Keep 'em coming.

Not that bad, my son has it at his job and play on his lunch hour from time to time. Needless to say he's WAY beter than I am.

Actually I have some (just a few) maple boards that a friend gave me when their floor was ripped out (water damage in one spot). The real pain for me is first using the bandsaw to rip off the finish -- I tried planing it off, which was a HUGE mistake, as it ruined the blades. It is a very hard finish. Then I plane down the other side and I have boards that are at least 1/2" thick left. but yes, there are holes along the tongue side. I've never tried gluing them into panels. Not yet.

I'm curious about your use of hardwood floor scraps. Are these from the trash or a jobsite? And how were they glued up. Did you just glue the tongues/grooves together or did you first rip that off and glue them with flush edges? I can see advantages to both approach.

Very nice. I have always been annoyed that you always have a box lying around when you play the original quarto game.
