I'm so in love with this song. I keep coming back to hear it and have it in three playlists!

Thanks so much! It's probably the original composition I'm most proud of thus far.

@@RebeccaETripp I’m flattered! Haven’t had time for much YouTubing lately, but I see your channel is doing well! Nice arrangement of Lunar Whale from FF4.

Remarkable. This is the best forest theme I've heard since Chrono Trigger.

no thank you, honestly! I listen to your water temple arrangement and the lost woods/dancing leaves arrangement literally everyday. It's in a playlist of instrumentals on my phone :D

+MeMyselfAndKgore So glad to hear it! It gives me hope that there would still be an audience out there for an impressionistic Zelda album.

Loving your stuff - listening through all your uploads a bit each night. Heard your Dancing Leaves arrangement first through a VGM radio station, and was so excited to see impressionism and VGM together, and more importantly, done really really well! Keep up the great work

+Graham Dickins Thanks so much for the kind words! Can I ask what VGM radio station you heard Dancing Leaves on (OCR or something else)? Just curious.

+docnanomusic Been trying to find out which one, but I can't remember, sorry :(. It may have been GameBytes Radio. I listen to VGM stations through TuneIn, and that was 1 of the stations

Wow, this is gorgeous. As I listened to this I decided to google Presque Isle. It looks so quaint and pretty and now I want to go visit there. Thanks for giving me a great piece to listen to! This is the first piece from your channel I've heard so I'm going to go listen to more.

+John Leonard Thanks for your comment! There are several places called Presque Isle, as it's a pretty generic name ("Presqu'île" is just French for "peninsula"), so the chances are it's different from the one you saw on Google. The one I'm talking about is in Marquette, Michigan.

This reminded me a little of Ondine by Ravel at parts

I think this might be my favorite of your works. I can tell that you're inspired by Rachmaninoff and/or Debussy.

Hey Doc, I recently found your channel and I was inspired by your impressionist approach to music. I will be learning to play piano soon and was wondering what pieces of music would you recommend for me to learn so that I can play beautiful stuff like you. Also do you have sheet music for the song in this video?
@celsotuzzolo8 жыл бұрын
Awesome! Hey, which software do you use to record your videos? I also have a digital piano, and would like to achieve the same sound quality. thank you!

+Celso Tuzzolo I use Ivory II Italian Grand for the piano sound. I use it as a VST plugin in Reaper for MIDI recording and audio rendering, but most other DAW programs would work just as well or better.
