Excellent treatment of the text and a timely message. I am currently preaching through Jeremiah and encouraging the church to share the Word as well as meditate upon it.

Thanks for this video. I'm a lay minister who does not get many opportunities in the pulpit. My pastor is very dynamic and he is very animated in his preaching style. Sometimes I feel pressure to measure up, and I struggle with being more animated as well as being more effective during my sermon prep time. As I am set to preach this weekend, you video was refreshing. We must be the best that we can be but be the person God made us to be and no one else. You're correct that we should work on our skills and learn from good preachers, but the end of the day, the Holy Spirit will use His word to impact the lives of His people. The Church belongs to Christ and He will build it. We must always remember this. I'll leave of with a couple of Scriptures, "Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God, who also made us adequate servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life...But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves." 2Corinthians 3:5,6; 4:7. May the Lord continue to strengthen you and your ministry.

Thank you for bringing Gods word to us! Learned a lot although I couldn’t keep up with everything as English isn’t my mother tongue. I really appreciate it! All the best! Good to see that you recovered quickly.
