Japan is the country where more Christians are persecuted for their faith. But it is also a Country where Christianity grows. God have mercy on those people who resist the truth of the gospel, and God be the one who gives strength to his saints, and God be glorified in everything through his lives.

I love how Paul brings the mission field home to America, a face, a name we can pray for, a ministry we can help support. I pray the Lord uses Lis to find my prodigal oldest daughter who taught herself Japanese and Mandarin Chinese in high school. Left home, came home twice as a prodigal but was not yet truly repentant. Married now a 3rd time to an engineer in the Japanese army. Never met him or spoke to him. She understands Spanish well, as her mother is from Guatemala (my wife of 35 yrs). She renounced her faith, her country and her parents and we have now not heard from her in 5 yrs, yet she heeded my advice (that we may be gone or taken to be w the Lord, lean on one another thru the year) when they were little, as she stays in touch w my youngest daughter in California. Pray for her to come back to the Lord, and really know and live a saved life (Lisa); she changed her name to some comicon figure name; thank you.

Please pray for the area of Japan my wife and I currently occupy as well. We both live in Gunma and the image of 'darkness' was well expressed in this video. There are no Biblical Churches at all in our area, so we supplement with sermons from brother Washer and others. But the Japanese don't have such luxury. We need a Church in this area.

2 months ago a close friend whom I'm staying with came downstairs and told me this " I was watching a movie about China, when the Lord spoke the name 'Tokyo', minutes later He said to her 'there will be a earthquake the likes of which mankind has never seen before'!. She, in the 17 years I have known her, has never declared anything like this before but has been accurate (100%) on smaller events.

Praise God, I am late to this video, but I have had a burden for Japan, probably for the last year. I can see where it could get very burdensome, evangiangelising in Japan. I am 62 years old, never in my life have had a burden for another country outside of the US. The burden for the indigenous people of Japan has been very great at this. It seems that so many missionary organizations appear to base missionary work around socioeconomics. And material needs instead. I have been reading up on modern Japanese culture lately, and had my heart completely broken when I saw the amount of deaths climbing from lonely death syndrome. Lord delivery these people and allow them to have the gospel preached. Move on Christian believers hearts.

I recently (yesterday or the day before) had the idea to go to Japan for mission work. As I've started to learn Japanese and got discouraged because I was thinking "what's the point in putting in all the years and work of learning this language, what will I even do with it?" but that same day I saw different videos about the needs of Christians in Japan and I just thought "maybe that's what I can do!" however I'm a married mother of two young kids, is it even an option?
