My experience- As I was coming out of the hall someone from ground chanted Jai Shree Ram and trust me when I say this I've never ever heard such a massive response ever in my life. I got goosebumps straight away when I heard people chanting Jai Shree Ram back. This movie has done a lot in uniting Hindus still a lot lot lot has to be achieved.

What a brilliant conversation. This is how I'd like sensitive topics to be discussed. No questions should be off the table and yet anyone who is interested in the truth, however uncomfortable it might be, will not be hurt and instead will have more windows of the mind open. As for those with an agenda, this conversation would have had its impact if more people have become aware of their hypocrisy. Time just flew by and frankly I was somewhat sad at the end that it was ending. As Kushal said at the end, all Hindus who have faced persecution because of their Hindu identity see this as their story (and let's face it, and these are my words, it has almost always been by Islam). There are many such stories waiting to be told and maybe some of them will be told one day but this one story has in a way created consciousness about all those stories too and helped in talking about them come into the mainstream. Inter-generational trauma is a real thing and I hope this one story has helped the healing process of many such people who have been aware of the persecution their earlier generations have had to face. Vivek - best wishes and looking forward to the third one in the trilogy. Btw, I really liked "Buddha in a traffic jam" and I think you should consider re-releasing both that movie and also the Tashkent Files.

I just cannot get enough of Vivek Agnihotri and his masterpiece Kashmir Files. I saw this interview and I clicked immediately. Really satisfying to hear such a detailed and casual and long discussion on the making of the film and the after effects in our society. Vivek should be awarded the Bharat Ratna asap - if not by GOI, then by people of India. He is that good. When growing up in Kashmir, I remember the tailor master asking us whether to sew a 'Batt (Hindu) Pheran' or a 'Mussalman Pheran' ----- which I came to know 30 years later was as per the Ahadnama of Sayyid Ali Hamdani, the Great Sufi set out in 1379 CE. Thanks Kushal for bringing Vivek Agnihotri to speak at great length on TKF. Had tears in my eyes listening to the part when Girija Tikkoo’s brother narrated that their family talked about his sister after all these years and grieved and wept together. Can feel their pain and emotions while remembering her. Honestly! Have not watched the movie yet much though I wish to. Hope to gather the courage and go to see the horror of this genocide of my fellow Hindus in KASHMIR. The only reason a movie like #KashmirFiles was possible is because finally the majority of Indians have becom political Hindus and voted the government in the center and states accordingly. Don't be fooled by political parties that want to divide us on caste , creed , etc especially the ones where nepotism is rampant , vote for the party that looks at you as one family and wants to take the county forward instead of breaking it into oblivion and taking it back to dark ages. The more we the majority are political and vote accordingly , there will be more movies like #KashmirFiles that will expose the inhuman and brutal truth about abrahamic genocide on our culture , spirituality and people for over 700 years and it's still happening to this day. Our daughters and sisters suffer the most , we need to make violence against women the most harshest punishment for which we need to make sure the government listens to us.
