Man. Seeing these kids again after so many years... Something just clicked in me and I just felt, like, a mellow, warm kind of happiness. I missed these dead dorks so much. I still kinda miss Lullaby for You but it's more in a bittersweet kinda way? And Runaway grew on me a lot over the years, so it's all fine. Are we actually gonna get a TWEWY2 after so long? The World Ends With You is about accepting what's in your own world and learning to enjoy living by connecting with the worlds of others. It's about learning and maturing as a person. Which is why I believe that the ending of A New Day is both fitting and very, very, VERY worrying. Neku's character arc represents the game's message more than anything else, even more so than what CAT represents. He pretty much IS the game. I was content with that at the end of Vanilla TWEWY, especially from the Secret Reports and ESPECIALLY after having finished Tin Pin World. AND's ending is good as it sets up the sequel for a story that seems to be more detached from Neku, focusing more on Sequel-chan. But at the same time it completely destroys that hope as it once again emphasizes that Neku is too gosh dang important to the entirey of TWEWY. And I think that's a shame. Sure, bringing Sho back is great and all and the thought of having him as a partner is zetta cool. But it keeps reinforcing the idea that the main cast, and at the very least Neku, will still continue to be present in the game even though we were already shown how much their world has grown through this story. I believe a proper sequel to this game should focus on a completely new cast of characters who need to mature just like our lovable group. If the message of the game is to grow and learn to realize that "It's a Wonderful World," then we have to see that happen for people who don't realize it just yet. TL;DR h.a.n.d pls give our spikey boy a break he just found out how to live his life and died before he got to live it

Same. I loved the original twewy and was mega excited to get the Remix, a sequel would be nice but it definitely should be with a different cast. Maybe keep Mr H and Josh, and maybe even have an Easter egg of the gang walking around Shibuya but that should be it.

I agree wholeheartedly. The world is really great and fleshed out, especially after reading all the secret reports, but Neku and the Gang’s stories are 100% wrapped up and I like them that way. The idea of a sequel still starring neku is concerning

I have a theory concerning "Hype-Chan" (the blonde girl with Mr. Mew). I think she may be the protagonist of the potential sequel. Obviously Neku is not out of the woods yet....but I think he'll make an appearance in the sequel as either one of her partners or as a [temporary] enemy throughout the story. Neku saw visions of the future involving this girl and then died (again), so I am taking it she is the future protagonist. Maybe she even saves Neku.

I'm wondering if Neku was actually disposed of by Joshua, or did Joshua mean something deeper when he said "He (Neku) isn't needed here anymore" like Neku is being sent to help someone else in an alternate Shibuya (where it seems like Sora woke up). You know since this is where Kh4 or Kh3 DLC will take place I have a theory on what the story will look like. During Sora's journey in the Reaper Shibuya he will be guided by Xehanort's Soul in order to redeem himself from his crimes and during his journey in the reaper game he will make a pact with a New and Mysterious Kingdom Hearts Character to win the Reaper Game. Meanwhile in the living realm Riku will try to find Sora by retracing his steps and during his quest to bring Sora back home he will be guided by Eraqus' Soul. Meanwhile back in the Reaper Shibuya Sora and his partner have succesfully completed the 6 days game but unfortunately in the 7th day Sora was knocked out by a Game Master and when he is about to be executed here his partner will reveal his True Form as The Master of Masters himself who will kill the Game Master that will force the other Reapers to take up Arms and an Epic fight between The Master of Masters and the Reapers will happen until the Conductor will cease the fight and ask the M.O.M why would he do such thing? The M.O.M answered that only him has the right to kill Sora in their upcoming 3rd Keyblade war between 13 Lights and 7 Darknesses.

I haven’t played KH dream drop distance or anything After because of this game. I hear it’s Important to KH but I honestly just can’t get into it. I bought it on iOS, playing it feels like a chore, even watching it on KZbin feels like a chore. Ugh. I just wanna get caught up on KH because I’m practically a decade behind. 8 hours of cutscenes for a DS game is insanity. Maybe I should just read a Wikipedia summary or something.
